California High School Volleyball - Hoover over Redwood

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA), observed Hoover's volleyball team top Redwood by a count of 2-0.

The Patriots (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA). The Badgers enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Yosemite notched a victory over Central East (Fresno, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rangers battle the Kingsburg Vikings (Kingsburg, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Redwood will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 3-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA).
