Illinois High School Volleyball - Prairie Central Pontiac

The Prairie Central Hawks volleyball team (Fairbury, IL), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL)

The Indians (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Streator beat Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Hawks meet the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Prairie Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Coal City (Coal City, IL).
