With the win, West Springfield upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Wolverines now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host South County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. West Potomac will play a Stallions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 0-1.
