Virginia High School Volleyball - West Springfield can't hold off West Potomac

In Thursday's non-league test, the host West Potomac Wolverines volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the West Springfield Spartans.

The Wolverines now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South County for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. West Potomac will confront a Stallions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 2-4.

The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Fairfax was nudged by Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
