The Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) softball routed the visiting Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA), 15-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Cougars (6-4) will now prepare for their bout against Perry (Perry, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 9-0 record.
The Golden Tornadoes now possess a 0-11 record. They play next when they host Dougherty for a 3A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, September 5. Monroe will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-8.
