Colorado High School Softball - Englewood bounces Platte Canyon

The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Englewood Pirates (Englewood, CO) and the visiting Platte Canyon Huskies (Bailey, CO), saw Englewood's softball squad achieve victory over Platte Canyon by a count of 18-3.

The Pirates now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Lupton for a 3A Frontier match on Wednesday, September 6. Englewood will face a Bluedevils squad coming off a 25-7 non-league win over Valley (Gilcrest, CO). The Bluedevils record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Platte Canyon falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Alameda (Lakewood, CO) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Saturday, September 2. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 1-2. Alameda lost 21-8 in their recent non-league match against Kennedy (Denver, CO)
