The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA) and the visiting Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA), saw Van Buren County's volleyball squad beat Central Lee by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Van Buren County upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Anamosa (Anamosa, IA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Anamosa won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA)

The Hawks now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Mediapolis for a SEI - South bout on Tuesday, September 5. Central Lee will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Washington (Washington, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
