The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), saw University's volleyball squad beat Fairfax by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Westchester (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Comets in a Western bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Westchester lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Venice (Los Angeles, CA)

The Lions now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Los Angeles CES for a Western bout on Wednesday, September 6. Fairfax will play a Unicorns squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA). The Unicorns record now stands at 3-2.
