The Glenvar Highlanders topped the visiting William Byrd Terriers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Highlanders now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick County for a Three Rivers test on Tuesday, September 5. Glenvar will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
The Terriers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen enter the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Liberty gained a win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
