With the triumph, Gadsden advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM) to clash with the Lobos in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Lobos come into the test with a record of 2-0. Chaparral won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM)

The Knights now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deming for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Organ Mountain will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
