The Clinton County Bulldogs volleyball squad (Albany, KY), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY)

With the win, Metcalfe County improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY) to encounter the Falcons in a District 16 battle on Saturday, August 31. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Monroe County won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY)

The Bulldogs now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monroe County for a District 16 battle on Tuesday, September 3.
