The Natchez Bulldogs edged the visiting Jefferson County Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Bulldogs face the Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 11. Natchez will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Bobcats go into the game with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS).
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against South Pike (Magnolia, MS). The Eagles go into the Class 3A Region 7 game with a 0-0 record.
