Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS) boosters were in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS). The Tigers enter the Class 3A Region 7 challenge with a 0-5 record.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS) in a Class 5A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Natchez will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Golden Tornadoes enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Pike (Summit, MS).
