The LaGrange Grangers softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Starr's Mill Panthers to 3 in the Grangers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, LaGrange improves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Grangers host Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A Region 4 game on Tuesday, September 6. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 11-0. Whitewater won 4-3 in their recent league game against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 7. Starr's Mill will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Chiefs come into the game with a 7-5 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Newnan (Newnan, GA).
