The Byrd Terriers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Abingdon Falcons to 0 in the Terriers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Terriers now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenvar for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 6. Byrd will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-0.
The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Gate City (Gate City, VA). The Blue Devils enter the Mountain 7 game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Gate City gained a win over Virginia High (Bristol, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
