The Gilford Golden Eagles volleyball team (Gilford, NH), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH)

The Sachems (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Winnisquam (Tilton, NH). The Bears enter the Division II challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Winnisquam was dropped by Oyster River (Durham, NH), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Kingswood Knights (Wolfeboro, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Wednesday, September 7. Gilford will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, NH).
