North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hendersonville Polk County

The Polk County Wolverines volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Hendersonville Bearcats to 1 in the Wolverines league victory on Thursday.

The Wolverines now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to R-S Central for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A game on Tuesday, September 6. Polk County will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-4.

The Bearcats (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans enter the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Chase was dropped by East Rutherford (Forest City, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
