North Carolina High School Volleyball - Thomas Jefferson overwhelmed by Highland Tech

In Thursday's league battle, the host Highland Tech Rams volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Thomas Jefferson Gryphons.

The Rams (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions come into the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A battle with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Shelby beat Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

With the loss, Thomas Jefferson drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Gryphons host East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to battle the Warriors in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, September 6. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 2-3.
