The Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) volleyball overcame the host Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Highland Tech upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Rams travel to Burns (Lawndale, NC) to face the Bulldogs in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 27. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 7-8. Burns won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC)

The Gryphons now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Bessemer City for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 27.
