The Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball team (Edmonton, KY), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY)

The Falcons (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Hornets enter the District 16 challenge with a 3-11 record.

Next, the Hornets meet the Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) in a District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY).
