The Toombs County Bulldogs topped the host New Hampstead Phoenix volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Savannah Arts Academy for a 2A Area 3 test on Tuesday, September 6. Toombs County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Effingham County (Springfield, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 18-2.

The Phoenix (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Blue Tide enter the non-league test with a 0-10 record. In their last test, Long County was knocked off by Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
