Next up, the Rams face the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a Northwest 1A contest, on Tuesday, September 6. Starmount will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Granite Bears go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).

With the loss, North Stokes moves to 4-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to face the Trojans in a Northwest 1A contest on Tuesday, September 6. The Trojans go into the contest with a record of 6-2. Alleghany won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against North Wilkes (Hays, NC)
