The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) and the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), saw Starmount's volleyball squad beat North Stokes by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Starmount upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Rams host Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to play the Granite Bears in a Northwest 1A bout on Thursday, September 29. The Granite Bears go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Mount Airy won 3-1 in their recent league bout against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC)

The Vikings now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Alleghany for a Northwest 1A bout on Thursday, September 29. North Stokes will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 12-3.
