Georgia High School Volleyball - Apalachee Athens Academy

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Athens Academy Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Apalachee Wildcats.

The Spartans (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Dacula achieved victory over Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 10. Apalachee will attempt to advance on its 9-12 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 19-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA).
