The Mount Pleasant Tigers topped the host Albemarle Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Tigers face the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 11. Mount Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Comets go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to South Stanly (Norwood, NC).
The Bulldogs (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Gray Stone Day gained a win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
