Next, the Chiefs battle the Pittston Patriots (Pittston, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 11. Lakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA).

The Spartans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders enter the Lackawanna - Division II contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, West Scranton was overwhelmed by Dunmore (Dunmore, PA), 2-1, in a league contest.
