The Wood River Wolverines (Hailey, ID) soccer overwhelmed the host Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID), 13-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Wolverines now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Twin Falls for a 5A Great Basin challenge on Thursday, September 12. Wood River will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Burley (Burley, ID). The Bruins record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Minico moves to 1-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Jerome (Jerome, ID) to encounter the Tigers in a 5A Great Basin challenge on Thursday, September 12. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Jerome won 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID)
