In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Buffalo Gap Bison volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Nelson County Governors.
The Bison (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets enter the Shenandoah challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Wilson Memorial was beaten by Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Governors meet the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Nelson County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Fighting Blues enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA).
