In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Callaway Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Murrah Mustangs.

The Chargers (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Vikings come into the Class 6A Region 2 challenge with a 17-7 record.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) in a Class 7A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Murrah will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Tupelo (Tupelo, MS).
