In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Nacogdoches Dragons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Tigers.

The Dragons (2-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Bobcats come into the 5A Region II District 15 challenge with a 14-11 record. In their last challenge, Hallsville lost by Lufkin (Lufkin, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 26-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Hallsville (Hallsville, TX).
