The Vikings (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA). The Pacers come into the Santa Fe challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Pomona Catholic edged St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers encounter the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) in a Santa Fe battle, on Thursday, September 12. Serra will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Warriors go into the battle with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA).
