Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI), 4-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Lincoln advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Coventry (Coventry, RI) to clash with the Oakers in a Division 2 test on Friday, September 12. The Oakers come into the test with a record of 3-1. Coventry won 5-3 in their recent league test against Smithfield (Esmond, RI)

The Cougars now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Hope for a Division 2 outing on Friday, September 12. North Providence will play a Huskies squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Huskies record now stands at 2-3.
