Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) and the visiting Loris Lions (Loris, SC), observed South Columbus's volleyball team top Loris by a count of 3-0.

The Stallions (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Red Devils enter the Southeastern 3A/4A/5A contest with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Red Springs dropped by South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Lions now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marlboro County for a AAA Region 7 battle on Thursday, September 11. Loris will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Dillon (Dillon, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
