Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Loris Lions (Loris, SC) and the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC), saw Loris's volleyball squad notch a victory over South Columbus by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Loris improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Lions host Aynor (Aynor, SC) to encounter the Blue Jackets in a AAA Region 7 battle on Thursday, September 18. The Blue Jackets go into the battle with a record of 7-4. Aynor lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC)

The Stallions now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Bladen for a Southeastern 3A/4A/5A challenge on Thursday, September 18. South Columbus will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Knights record now stands at 9-1.
