The Marion County Eagles routed the host Kendrick Cherokees softball squad by a final score of 19-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Eagles (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Manchester (Manchester, GA). The Blue Devils go into the 1A D-II Region 6 battle with a 1-4 record.
The Cherokees now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Jordan for a 2A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 12. Kendrick will confront a Red Jackets squad coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Hardaway (Columbus, GA). The Red Jackets record now stands at 1-8.
