The Wesleyan Wolves softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Lumpkin County Indians to 0 in the Wolves league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Wesleyan improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Wolves travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to clash with the Spartans in a 3A Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 12. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 2-10. West Hall lost 7-3 in their recent league game against White County (Cleveland, GA)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) in a 3A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, September 12. Lumpkin County will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 10-6 record after their 5-0 league win over Gilmer (Ellijay, GA).
