In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Chincoteague Ponies volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Holly Grove Christian .

The Ponies (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Broadwater Academy was edged by StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
