The Heritage Pioneers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen to 1 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Monday.

The Pioneers now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amherst County for a Seminole game on Tuesday, September 12. Heritage will meet a Lancers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-3.

The Statesmen (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Knights enter the James River game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Buckingham dropped by Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
