The Heritage Pioneers held off the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Pioneers now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookville for a Seminole test on Tuesday, September 26. Heritage will confront a Bees team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees record now stands at 11-1.

The Statesmen (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Knights enter the James River test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Buckingham was nudged by Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
