In Thursday's non-league test, the Inola Longhorns (Inola, OK) softball squad got by the visiting Preston Pirates (Preston, OK), by a tally of 1-0.

The Longhorns now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davenport for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Inola will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Kellyville (Kellyville, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Preston moves to 11-5 on the season. The Pirates travel to Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK) to encounter the Buccaneers in a 2A outing on Monday, September 15. The Buccaneers come into the outing with a record of 6-4. Tonkawa lost 10-8 in their recent non-league outing against Blackwell (Blackwell, OK)
