The Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) softball routed the host Inola Longhorns (Inola, OK), 9-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tonkawa for a 2A outing on Monday, September 15. Preston will encounter a Buccaneers team coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Blackwell (Blackwell, OK). The Buccaneers record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Inola moves to 9-11 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Davenport (Davenport, OK) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 16-4. Davenport won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Kellyville (Kellyville, OK)
