Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Benjamin Franklin Chargers (Queen Creek, AZ) and the visiting Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ), saw Benjamin Franklin's volleyball squad notch a victory over Payson by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Benjamin Franklin improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Chargers travel to ALA - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ) to encounter the Warriors in a 3A - Metro battle on Monday, September 15. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 4-6. ALA - Ironwood lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ)

The Longhorns now own a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thatcher for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Payson will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
