The Payson Longhorns topped the visiting Benjamin Franklin Chargers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Coming up next, the Longhorns play the ALA - Ironwood Warriors (Ironwood, AZ) in a 3A - Metro outing, on Monday, September 22. Payson will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Warriors come into the outing with a 9-10 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Florence (Florence, AZ).

With the loss, Benjamin Franklin drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Scottsdale Preparatory Academy (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Spartans in a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. The Spartans come into the outing with a record of 7-5.
