The Covenant Christian Eagles volleyball squad (Tuscumbia, AL), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Brooks Lions (Killen, AL)

The Lions (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Westminster Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Westminster Christian Academy got by Ardmore (Ardmore, AL), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Eagles meet the Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Covenant Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors go into the battle with a 13-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Waterloo (Waterloo, AL).
