The Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) volleyball nipped the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 3-2 in Thursday's league contest.

The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos enter the Jefferson contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Fluvanna County was tipped by Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Black Knights battle the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 15. Charlottesville will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Lancers go into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA).
