Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Bulldoggs (18-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Raiders come into the 5A Area 8 challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Habersham Central edged Apalachee (Winder, GA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators meet the Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA) in a 5A Area 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Clarke Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 14-15 record after their 2-0 league win over Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA).
