Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Hockinson Hawks (Brush Prairie, WA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Columbia River improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rapids travel to Sumner (Sumner, WA) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 3-0. Sumner won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Kentridge (Kent, WA)

Next, the Hawks meet the Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Hockinson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Monarchs enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Kalama (Kalama, WA).
