The Howard Huskies volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Luella Lions to 0 in the Huskies league triumph on Thursday.

The Huskies now have a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Baldwin for a 3A Area 1 outing on Tuesday, September 16. Howard will play a Braves team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA). The Braves record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Luella drops to 0-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA) to confront the Knights in a 3A Area 1 game on Tuesday, September 23. The Knights go into the game with a record of 13-16.
