The Luella Lions volleyball squad (Luella, GA), was beaten 2-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Howard Huskies (Macon, GA)

The Huskies (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Knights enter the 3A Area 1 contest with a 16-16 record. In their last test, Upson-Lee achieved victory over Lamar County (Barnesville, GA), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastside for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Luella will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-23.
