The Socastee Braves volleyball team (Myrtle Beach, SC), was knocked off 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC)

The Chiefs (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record.

Next, the Braves meet the Myrtle Beach Seahawks (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a AAAA Region 6 contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Socastee will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Seahawks enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Atlantic Collegiate Academy (Conway, SC).
